This complete 18-section policy describes the exact Dixie Threadbook Android build: no Internet permission, no account, no ads, no analytics, and no transmission of personal data.

01Responsible entity and scope

This policy applies to Dixie Threadbook for Android, provided by DOC BOOTH FOUNDATION, INC., 13943 S Wasatch Star Pl, Herriman, UT 84096, United States. Effective July 31, 2026.

02Intended audience

The app is designed for adults, caregivers, guardians, authorized volunteers, mentors, and older students using the material with appropriate adult guidance. It is not designed for independent use by children.

03App purpose

Dixie Threadbook supplies original offline community-learning cards, a deterministic service-session builder, general scholarship-preparation literacy, adult-facilitated mentor and local-story prompts, sports-community planning, safety boundaries, and public source references.

04Data not collected or transmitted

The app does not collect or transmit names, email addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, schools, grades, transcripts, essays, photos, audio, contacts, precise or approximate location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, health information, financial information, messages, usage analytics, crash telemetry, or diagnostic logs.

05On-device preferences and session state

The app may save large-text and high-contrast choices, anonymous viewed-card IDs, and current Service Weave selections. These records remain in the app's private storage on the device.

06No sensitive records or free-text notes

Dixie Threadbook has no youth profile, attendance, behavior, case-management, incident, diagnosis, counseling, scholarship-application, transcript, essay, headshot, acceptance-letter, enrollment, student-ID, or free-text note feature. Anonymous controls must not be used to encode a person's identity.

07Permissions

The app requests no Internet, camera, microphone, location, Bluetooth, notification, contacts, calendar, SMS, call-log, health, or shared-storage permission. Android may add an internal signature-protected component permission that is not a user-data permission.

08No account

There is no registration, login, password, profile, cloud account, identity verification, donation, payment, application, upload, or account-deletion flow inside the app.

09No ads, analytics, tracking, or third-party network SDKs

Dixie Threadbook contains no advertising, analytics, attribution, social, telemetry, crash-reporting, remote-configuration, or network software development kit. It does not track users across apps or websites.

10No sharing, disclosure, or sale

Because the app does not collect or transmit personal data, it does not sell, rent, disclose, or share personal data with the Foundation, advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.

11External sources and contact behavior

The Source Desk displays citation URLs as plain reference text. The app has no Internet permission and does not open or monitor those destinations. It does not send email or submit forms. If a user independently visits a source or contacts the organization outside the app, that service's terms and privacy practices apply.

12Retention

Device-only accessibility preferences, viewed-card IDs, and builder choices remain until the user clears them in Settings, clears Android app storage, or uninstalls the app.

13Deletion, backup, and device transfer

Clear all local data removes Dixie Threadbook's saved preferences and anonymous state. Android backup and device transfer are disabled, and the app provides no cloud sync or restore.

14Security limits

Data is limited to private on-device preferences protected by Android application sandboxing. No software or device can be guaranteed completely secure; users should maintain device access controls and current system updates.

15Children and safeguarding

The app does not knowingly collect children's personal information and should be operated in an appropriately supervised setting. It provides no chat, public profiles, direct adult-minor messaging, precise youth location, public sharing, or youth records. Safeguarding concerns belong in the setting's authorized process.

16Health, wellness, and sports limitations

General pause, trusted-adult, mentoring, and community-sports ideas are educational planning material, not therapy, counseling, diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, suicide-prevention training, coaching, injury assessment, medical advice, or emergency response. For urgent safety or health concerns, involve a trusted adult and appropriate local emergency services outside the app.

17Policy changes and user choices

Material changes will be reflected in an updated policy with a new effective date. Users may stop using the app and delete local data at any time. A future feature that changes data practices requires matching app, listing, Data Safety, and policy updates before release.

18Privacy contact

Written privacy questions may be directed to DOC BOOTH FOUNDATION, INC., 13943 S Wasatch Star Pl, Herriman, UT 84096, United States. Do not send sensitive youth, health, safety, scholarship-application, or incident details through ordinary correspondence.
