QUICK HELP

Common questions

Does the Android app need an Internet connection?

No. Dixie Threadbook requests no Internet permission. Its guides, source notes, safety material, and planning tools are bundled for offline use.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no registration, login, password, cloud profile, identity verification, subscription, or payment inside the app.

What can the app save?

The app may keep accessibility preferences, anonymous viewed or selected card identifiers, and current builder choices in private app storage. These are device-only settings, not youth records.

How do I delete local app data?

Use the clear-local-data control in the app’s Privacy or Settings area. Android’s Clear storage command and uninstalling the app also remove Dixie Threadbook’s local state.

Can the app submit a scholarship or program application?

No. Dixie Threadbook is not an application, eligibility, enrollment, donation, event, or transaction system. Use the Foundation’s official website for current public information.

Can I record a participant’s story or concern in the app?

No. The app has no free-text participant notes, case files, attendance, incident records, profiles, chat, or direct messaging. Use only an authorized real-world process for sensitive information.

Is the Reset or reflection content professional care?

No. It is general educational material and does not provide counseling, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, or crisis response.
